How do we build new worlds?

Skeå Creative Connect brings together people from digital product development, VFX, game development and industry for a day of new ideas, unexpected collaborations and fresh perspectives. Because the next breakthrough rarely happens within a single field.

About Skeå: Creative Connect 2026

Skeå Creative Connect brings together people from game development, VFX, digital product development, traditional industry and beyond. Different sectors. Different perspectives. One shared curiosity about creativity and what happens when worlds collide. Because that’s where new collaborations begin.

Last year, more than 250 people joined us, along with keynote speakers from across Sweden, all connected to the local community. This year we’re aiming even higher. More voices. More unexpected meetings. And more opportunities to create something new together.

Skeå Creative Connect is a convention organized by Skellefteå Science City and Arctic Game that brings people together, builds creative communities, and fosters innovation.

What you’ll get:

  • New collaborations across industries
  • Fresh perspectives on your work
  • Inspiration you can apply directly
  • Access to talks, workshops and networking

Meet to Match
This is a structured networking format included with every ticket. Attendees are matched with relevant contacts from other industries and disciplines for short, focused meetings during the day. It removes the awkwardness of cold networking and makes sure you leave the event with at least a few genuinely useful new connections.

Who it’s for:  Industry innovators. Game developers. Filmmakers. Designers. Engineers. Product developers. If you’re building something, and curious about how others do it – this is for you.
