Speakers
Co-Founder of The Mocap Vaults
John Dower
Director with 30+ years’ experience in Film, TV, and Games. His award-winning films have screened at 70+ festivals, including Cannes, Toronto, and Locarno. He has directed 80+ TV drama episodes for BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, including EastEnders, Casualty, and The Bill.
His games credits include “GTA online”, “Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2”, “Formula 1 2023”, “007 Legends”, and NDA game project for Supermassive, EA andRockstar.
John is co-founder of The Mocap Vaults, the world’s Premier Performance Capture School with bases in USA, Canada, UK and Sweden. He co-wrote Performing for Motion Capture – A Guide for Practitioners with Pascal Langdale and published by Methuen Drama.
John is a member of Directors UK and a Trustee of the Directors Charitable Foundation. His teaching & consultancy has taken him to film schools, drama schools, Universities & Games Developers in several countries.
Motion Capture Stuntman and Actor
Nicklas Hansson
About Nicklas Hansson
is a highly experienced motion capture performer, stuntman and actor with a diverse background in both musical theater, martial arts and parkour as well as being a former military drill sergeant. Nicklas has worked industry for more than 17 years and done motion capture for ountless games, trailers and tv shows, he also did stunts for blockbuster Hollywood productions such as Game of Thrones, Transformers and Dumbo and has received two SAG awards for best stunt ensemble in a comedy or drama series.
With the versatility of being both a stunt performer and actor, Nicklas quickly started adding credits to his mocap resume, among them the Battlefield and Wolfenstein franchises, Horizon: Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassins Creed: Valhalla, Call of Duty: Vanguard, The Finals and many many more.
Motion Capture Technician
Erik Okfors
About Erik Okfors
is a technical artist with over ten years of experience in real-time graphics, animation, and game development for mobile, PC, and web. With a background in both 3D graphics and programming, he has worked with motion capture, VR/AR/XR, and software development.
He is a motion capture technician, technical artist, and animator at Creative Crowd. His role involves developing high-quality animations, refining motion capture data, and integrating real-time graphics for games and interactive experiences.
