Skellefteå-based indie studio Polysoup Interactive has achieved significant success with their debut title, Put The Sausage In The Bun—a quirky, physics-based game that has captured the attention of streamers across South Korea, the US, Canada, and Europe.

Released in November 2024, the game was unexpectedly picked up by South Korean content creators and quickly went viral. Building on that momentum, Arctic Game, through its Game Attraction North project, in collaboration with Acino Game Solutions and Oh My Interactive, supported Polysoup with business development and strategic planning.

This collaboration resulted in a major update that added new levels and integrated Crowd Control—a plugin enabling Twitch viewers to interact directly with the game in real time, creating a deeper connection between streamers and their audiences.

“We built the game to be silly and surprising, but seeing it come alive with a live audience on Twitch was beyond anything we imagined. Crowd Control made it feel like the viewers were part of the game,” says Co-Founder Samuel Lundsten.

“Polysoup is a great example of how local studios can turn small-scope games into real global traction,” says Tim Leinert, Project Manager at Arctic Game. “Our goal is to help teams move fast, learn from their audience, and build sustainable momentum.”

The studio is now shaping its next project using lessons from this journey. With early support from Sammes Stiftelse, they are developing a new prototype and refining their pre-release strategy. The team is excited about the potential in the Asian market and is actively seeking a publishing partner to help expand their reach to these audiences.
