First Teams Begin Their Journey in the Arctic Game Incubator
The Arctic Game Incubator has officially kicked off in Skellefteå – an important initiative aimed at strengthening the region’s growing game industry. Over the coming months, participating teams will receive support from industry experts, mentors, and the regional ecosystem, all working together to provide the best possible conditions for development and growth.
The incubator program offers everything from business development and production coaching to publisher readiness and valuable networking opportunities. The goal is clear: to equip each team with the tools they need to take the next major step in their journey.
– This is a significant milestone for our game development ecosystem in Skellefteå municipality, and we are excited to follow the progress of the participating teams,” says Tim Leinert, Business Development Manager at Skellefteå Science City.

The incubator is made possible through the Game Attraction North project, which is funded by: The European Union, Region Norrbotten, Region Västerbotten, Skellefteå Municipality, Umeå Municipality, Luleå Municipality and Boden Business Park.
