04 Apr 2025This weekend, the team at 5 Fortress is diving into playtesting for their upcoming game Striden. We caught up with the CEO Emil Darsbo to hear how things are going—and to talk about the buzz surrounding the studio.
“We’ve been working super hard the last two weeks to prepare for this,” says Emil. “Now we’re just excited to have a fun weekend and get loads of feedback from our testers.”
The playtest comes at a great time for the team, who recently received major shoutouts from both PC Gamer and Rock, Paper, Shotgun Ltd.
“That kind of recognition means a lot for a studio like ours, based in Norrbotten,” Emil says. “We’re honestly humbled, proud, and just really happy about the coverage. The reach of those platforms is massive—it could really help us move forward.”
