Incubator
13 May 2026This year, Arctic Game Incubator is bringing some of the newest local studios to Nordsken, one of the biggest game culture events in northern Sweden. Find us at Booth A1 + A2 and get hands-on with games at every stage of development.
Arctic Game Incubator is a business development initiative by SkellefteÃ¥ Science City, built to strengthen and grow the local game industry in the north. The studios you’ll meet are at different stages of that journey, from early pre-incubation where prototypes are being tested and ideas are still taking shape, to acceleration phase where teams are pushing toward release and investment readiness.
One of the studios on the floor is DigitalMole, showing up with two very different games. HELLSPRINT is a retro-styled, momentum-driven first-person speedrunner, already tested with the European Speedrunner Association. DEADLY, ROUND I is an arena fighter where medieval weapons have been strapped to marbles, pick your champion and go.
– Nordsken is the prime place to be if you want to try out awesome games made locally! Says Wille Pilquist at DigitalMole
In collaboration with Luleå Technical University, the booth also features student game projects spanning everything from early concepts to playable demos.
– We are building a pipeline from student project to early startup to scale-up in Skellefteå, in close collaboration with Luleå Technical University. Nordsken is a natural milestone for those teams. A chance to test their games and create their first real audience engagement. Says Tim Leinert, Business Development Manager at Arctic Game Incubator
Come and play. Talk to the people making them. Feedback at this stage genuinely shapes what these games become.
